Social Media Marketing Coordinator

We’re called Mangos Management Group. We’re a pretty fun real estate group based in downtown Toronto. We love what we do - which is helping clients with their biggest investment in their lives - their home. Our marketing division - Mangos Marketing - oversees multiple real estate brands and a variety of other brands with awesome clients with specific needs. We’re looking for a Social Media Marketing Coordinator to assist us in making their online presence unique and memorable. 

HERE’S WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: 

  1. Social media. Weekly social posts, IG/FB stories/reels/IGTV, weekly short-form videos that need to be edited and shot with clients. Creating ads, copy and design for social media accounts; Planning, scheduling, executing social media content, and working closely with each client. Using organizational tools like Later and Trello.

  2. Monthly newsletters. Creating content and designing monthly newsletters using Mailchimp.

  3. Website management. Our current website is on Squarespace but experience with Wordpress or other providers is a plus

  4. Video/photo editing. Using design platforms to edit photos and videos (Canva, and NLE such as Adobe Premiere, Final Cut Pro, etc) 

  5. Paid ads management. Facebook and/or Google Ad Campaigns

  6. Creative. Suggest new ways to attract prospective clients using social media and ads

  7. Marketing analysis and strategy. Review analytics and create reports on key metrics. Assist in the development and management of social media marketing and influencer marketing strategy.

  • Theory and psychology behind online marketing and how to effectively market to target
    groups using online platforms such as Facebook and Instagram

  • How to effectively work with different clients and manage the relationship with each one of them

  • Web design & development

  • Improve your design and editing skills

  • How to effectively communicate with team members and their different needs

  • Understanding project management and how to successfully manage your time 

  • You will be fully trained in this role so that the skills you gain will be transferable for your future endeavors!

REQUIRED TRAITS/SKILLS:

  • Excellent visual design skills 

  • Creativity; ready to provide ideas and input

  • Time management and ability to handle multiple projects at once

  • Top notch familiarity with social media and the concept of engagement is key

  • Prior experience with video/photo editing software (Final Cut Pro) & design (Canva or Adobe Creative Cloud) is required

  • Previous experience as a Social Media Coordinator or experience in the creation of a social media brand (personally or professionally) is required  

  • Experience with Facebook ads and running paid ad campaigns is a huge asset

This position is mainly  done remotely - all you’ll need is a computer with reliable internet. We do shoot content with clients from time to time, we might ask you to come to downtown Toronto once in a while! Once it is safer to work in-office you’ll have the option of working out of our downtown offices. We are flexible with scheduling and will happily work with you on setting a schedule that fits around your other commitments. 

This is a full-time position at $40,000/yr with health and dental benefits after the 3 month probation.
